Charles M. Schulz (Minnesota 1922 – California 2000). Dibujante y humorista norteamericano. artífice de las series de cómics Peanuts, protagonizadas, entre otros personajes, por el impulsivo Charlie Brown y el perro Snoopy, publicó una historieta diaria des del 1950 en el publicación Saturday Evening Post, hasta su asesinato. Sus personajes son una transposición al mundo de los niños de la confusión, la ansiedad y las frustraciones de los adultos, que resalta la ingenuidad inmaduro. Muchas de sus series se han llevado al cine y a la televisión.
